John is a strong believer in the F.O.E. Ritual and has been an active member of the Calgary Aerie Ritual Team for many years. He enjoys laughter and believes it is the best medicine. "It is important in everything you do that you must have fun doing it."
18 years as an active firefighter for the Calgary Fire Department before his promotion to Fire Inspector I and Inspector II. He served as Technical Services Officer before retiring in January, 2004.
