Eagle Village is a 26 acre complex, with 85 units and a library, recreation center and pool. Future plans for the Village includes building a 33 unit residential building with single bedroom and double bedroom options. We are in the preliminary planning stages, and the process for building this facility, currently dubbed "Lakeview 33," could take up to 2 to 2 1/2 years. Fundraising is being encouraged and applications for current properties are being accepted.
At the recommendation of the Board of Grand Trustees, the Village Directors revised one of the Qualifications for Application to Eagle Village in 2007. When meeting the other qualifications, upon the death of the applicant, the spouse may remain a resident of Eagle Village if he or she is a member of an aerie or auxiliary at the time of the Village's annual lease renewal. Only Eagle Aerie or Auxiliary members may sign a lease for Eagle Village residency. Additionally, at the recommendation of the Board of Grand Trustees, single auxiliary members are eligible to apply for units at Eagle Village.
