FOE Membership Director Sought

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Board of Grand Trustees has begun a search to fill the position of Membership Director at the Grand Aerie Headquarters in Grove City, Ohio.

“Our leadership team is clear that we must continue to explore new opportunities for membership and organizational growth,” Chairman of the Board Mike Lagervall said. “With all Aerie and Auxiliary members in mind, we are seeking an experienced membership professional who will help us secure a solid future for The Fraternal Order of Eagles.”

Primarily, the Membership Director will be responsible for these outcomes:

• Steady growth of membership;
• Comprehensive annual membership recruitment and retention plans;
• New and expanded membership programs that meet the needs of current and future members;
• Establishment of new Aeries and programs supporting these groups;
• Execution and expansion of membership recognition and award programs, including annual Producers and Bell Ringers programs;
• Management/dissemination of regular Net Gain reports and One-Member-A-Month (formerly No Goose Egg) program;
• Development and retention of community and corporate relationships;
• Detailed monthly reporting to leadership, including the development and maintenance of an accurate contact management system including call records/activity reporting.

Minimum qualifications are at least 5 years of related membership experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field. Relevant membership department experience in a similar non-profit environment will be strongly considered, and may be substituted for educational requirements.
