2010 Eagle Bulletin Contest Winners Announced

Springfield, Missouri claims top prize

Grove City, Ohio – The Fraternal Order of Eagles has announced the winners of the 2010 Bulletin Contest, with Springfield, Mo., Aerie/Auxiliary #3934 claiming top honors as the Grand Prize Winner.

Peggy L. Olson is editor of the Monthly Camera bulletin. Judges selected the Monthly Camera based on its coverage of local Eagle activities and its easy-to-read design.

“Unlike so many bulletins, the Springfield newsletter devotes its front page to actual news instead of a calendar or message from the Presidents,” one judge said. “Those things have their place in a bulletin, but it isn’t right up front.”
