Since dial-up internet is all that's available at my house, I have to find
time in my hectic schedule when the public library (and their wireless
internet) is open. To do the first updates after convention (with all
the new pictures, committees, etc.), my internet is too slow. (It's
taken me 5+ hours at the library to get the updates done!)

7/19/08 - Anyone that has an update on when the Memorial (at #795) for
Billie Baker is, please let me know. I've heard it's 7/26 at 2PM, I've
heard 7/27 at 1PM and I've heard 7/27 at 2PM.

It's worse than we thought... PSMP Billie Baker (#795) passed over the
night. I have not spoken to Jack, her husband, but I understand that
her remains are to be cremated and there will be a memorial service later.
No plans have been formally announced.

7/15/08 - PSMP Billie Baker (#795), a spitfire if there
ever was one, has been moved to the Oakwood Nursing Home. Her health
is deteriorating rapidly. If you can send a card, I'm sure it would be
appreciated. Please let her, her husband Jack, and her family know our
Eagle family loves her too.

6/28/2008 - Sarah Brittany Wirth, daughter of Judi Wirth
(#3204) and niece of Past SMP Mae
Brown (#824) died in a car accident Friday, June 27, 2008. Details

Sarah Brittany Wirth, 21, passed away on Friday,
June 27, 2008.
Born in Redwood City, CA, she was the daughter
of the late Michael B. Wirth. Sarah was a recent
graduate of T.C.C. and was planning to attend
O.D.U. in the fall. Sarah loved all sports and
hoped to pursue a career in sports broadcasting.
She is survived by her mother, Judi C. Wirth;
sister, Katie N. Wirth of Virginia Beach, VA;
paternal grandfather, Robert Wirth of Modesto,
CA; and numerous aunts and uncles in California
and Virginia.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown
Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, on Monday, June
30, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be
held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home
chapel. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial
Park. Condolences may be offered to the family
