27 December Our Grand Presidents Wish You A Very Merry Christmas! December 27, 2017 By The Fraternal Order of Eagles General 0 Brothers and Sisters, We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season. For the Fraternal Order of Eagles, this season truly exemplifies our commitment to charity and community service. During the holiday season, we send care packages to troops serving overseas through our Operation Eagle program, which is funded exclusively by our members. Across the United States and Canada, our 1,500+ locations organize holiday fundraisers, plan children’s parties and shopping sprees, and donate their time and money to help feed families in need. We always make it an organizational priority to give our best to those most in need each Winter. Currently, we’re on track for a successful membership year, however we must continue to work hard to recruit new members and meet our goal of Net Gain +2%. To help reach our mark, we’re asking everyone to “Give The Gift Of Membership” this holiday season by reaching out to someone you know who is contemplating membership with the F.O.E. and paying their first years dues. Provide your friends and family with a year of access to our Aeries, a terrific slate of Member Benefits, protection through the Memorial Foundation and an endless amount of fun, friendship and fraternalism as they participate in our numerous charitable endeavors. In addition, we’ve had several members reach out to us on how to send us gifts for the holidays. While we appreciate the kind gesture, we would like to ask that anyone interested please make a donation to our charities in lieu of gifts. Those interested can donate to the Grand Worthy President’s Charity – Bridge to the Cure, or the Grand Madam President’s Project – Honor Flight Tri-State. Thank you all again for the kindness and generosity you have shown us throughout our travels so far. We are both so proud to serve on your behalf for the 2017-2018 year and look forward to the next six months as we continue to spread the great message of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. A Message From the Grand Board of Trustees & GWP Ron Malz Brothers & Sisters, The Fraternal Order of Eagles Grand Aerie continues to monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation across the United States and Canada and we hope that all of our members are taking the necessary precautions to remain safe as the issue continues to evolve. Many of you have asked us questions regarding opening your Aerie homes to members, meetings, etc., upcoming State/Provincial Conventions and our International Convention this summer in Spokane. Regarding local business, we’re asking all of our Aeries to keep a watchful eye on the recommendations of your local government officials and to fully comply with any orders they may issue within your States/Provinces and local communities. Merry Christmas from Carl & Althea Brothers and Sisters, It’s the giving season - what better way to celebrate the holidays than by putting that charitable energy back into your community. As we celebrate the holidays with our beloved family and friends, we should take the time to reflect on the charitable acts that took place in 2018. Throughout the 2017 and 2018 fraternal year, more than $3,600,000 was donated to the Charity Foundation. Which is an impressive feat that exemplifies your hard work and selfless dedication to helping others. Showing 0 Comment Comments are closed.
