Vienna, Missouri

In 2019, Vienna-Bassett Aerie #4340 provided $6,000 in post- high school scholarships for local students. The Aerie also obtained $6,500 in grants from the Grand Aerie for two organizations; the Belle Elementary School received a grant to replace its playground which is currently condemned, and the Vienna Senior Center received a grant to fill its pantry that provides hot meals both in the center and for home delivery.

Springfield, Missouri - January 2020

Queen City Aerie #3934 presented a $3,000 check to Smitty’s Midwest Boxing Gym. The gym is run by Darrell Smith, and it helps at-risk kids in the community learn leadership and discipline, as well as, equipping them with self-defense classes, survival training, and guidance on personal protection. Kids are required to maintain a B average to be eligible to train, and the gym offers tutoring and internet to help the children succeed. 

Springfield, Missouri - July 2019

Springfield Eagles #3934 hosted their annual MO. State Presidents visit. The Aerie and Auxiliary both donated $5,000 each to the State Presidents Alen Powell and Theresa Robinson’s charity, the Make A Wish Foundation. An additional $2,500 was given to Camp Hope, and $2,000 was given to Bar H. Ranch. A total of $14, 500 was distributed throughout the day. These donations were made possible by hosting weekly bingo games by the Aerie and Auxiliary.

Marceline, Missouri - April 2019

• During the Grand Worthy President’s visit at Knollwood #4010, the Marceline Auxiliary #726 presented a $500 check to Carl Burnett for his Metavivior fundraising project. 

• Marceline Eagles #726 presented a $500 check to the GMP Althea Lane’s charity City of Hope, and an additional $500 to the F.O.E. charity foundation’s cancer fund.

Springfield, Missouri - February 2019

Queen City Eagles #3934 recently hosted their MO State Presidents. Both Aerie and Auxiliary, jointly, donated $10,000 to their State President’s charity Make A Wish. They also donated $2,500 to their charity Camp Hope, and gave another $2,000 to the charity of their SCRP. Overall, they donated $14,500, and raised the money by hosting bingo and Queen of Hearts.
