Every year, they have been able to make a basket for every family name turned in by their members. The names submitted are friends, family or neighbors of current members. This year, 40 family names were submitted. Members donated time and money to prepare the 40 baskets, which were provided to the families for the holidays. Evansville, Indiana - November 2017 The Ladies’ Auxiliaries of Evansville #427 and River City #4023 joined together for a bake sale event to benefit the Weinhandl family. Two-year-old Carlee battles catastrophic epilepsy and cerebral palsy while her father Josh, is recovering from a devastating motorcycle accident. The all-day event included auctions, food trucks, games, cornhole, raffles and 50/50 drawings with live music and more. The event raised more than $5,500 for the family.
