Indiana, Pennsylvania - April 2019

The Indiana Eagles #1468 raised more than $1,400 through a three-ball billiard tournament to benefit a future Make-a-Wish recipient. The proceeds will be used to sponsor an area youth between 2 and half to 18-years-old.

Lock Haven, Pennsylvania - March 2019

Captain Dan Johnson of the Salvation Army accepted a $5,000 donation from the Lock Haven Aerie #4298. Presenters are Eagle Officers and Trustees Ron Bowes, JoAnn Bowes, George Stefanski, Kasey Campbell, Maud Peck, Todd Kreidler and Ken Wert.

Freedom, Pennsylvania - January 2019

Freedom Aerie #1429 donated $2,300 for the Women’s Center of Beaver County, along with items on their wish list.

Lebanon, Pennsylvania - January 2019

Lebanon Aerie #472 donated $10,000 to the North Annville Police Chief Matthew Bartal and 911 Rapid Response Owner Mark Sallada’s 911 Rapid Response Project. According to Officer Down Memorial Page, Inc., 148 police officers were in killed in the U.S. in 2018, and the 911 RRP’s purpose is to help prevent officers from being killed in the line of duty. More than $11,000 in equipment will be distributed to each police department, the county detective bureau and sheriff’s office based on need and size of the department. It will include: Pouches with first-aid materials like a chest seal, gauze, bandages, trauma shears, a tourniquet, a hemostatic agent to control bleeding, active shooter vests, and ballistic helmets.

Somerset, Pennsylvania - August 2018

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 donated $3,000 to the Sipesville Volunteer Fire Co. to replace two automated external defibrillators. 

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 donated $1,000 to the Stoystown-Quemahoning Community Park Associations. The money will be used to build a gazebo where they will put a ‘Little Free Library’ inside.

Somerset, Pennsylvania - July 2018

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 presented a $3,000 check to the New Centerville & Rural Volunteer Fire Company. The plan on using the money to place their 1978 brush/utility truck. 

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 donated $1,000 to the Somerfest Classic event. The money will be used to help fund the entertainment for the event. 

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 gave $1,000 to the Somerset County Hazardous Materials Team, and the money will be used to update the response vehicle with L.E.D. emergency lighting. 

- Edgewood Aerie #1801 made a $1,000 donation to the Rockwood Veterans Memorial and Community Park.

Blairsville, Pennsylvania - July 2018

Blairsville Aerie, Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders #1488 hosted the Pennsylvania Hero Walkers and presented the group with a $5,000 check to support their cause. The Hero Walkers walk from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh in support of and raising funds for Pennsylvania Veterans. The Aerie also provided a dinner and musical entertainment.

Somerset, Pennsylvania - June 2018

Edgewood Aerie #1801 donated $4,000 to help Trucks for Smiles, which is a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Connellsville, Pennsylvania - June 2018

Connellsville Eagle Riders #493 presented a $1,500 check to Corporal Bryan Kendi of the Connellsville police. The Eagle Riders raised the money from a ride held last month, donations and sales of shirts.

Brookville, Pennsylvania - June 2018

Brookville Aerie and Auxiliary #983 won first place for their float during the Brookville Laurel Festival.
