Richmond, Virginia - Sept. 2017

Virginia Lakeside Eagles #4211 held a series of fundraisers earlier this year. On May 20,they held a member bingo fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Richmond, raising $180. On June 17th, another member bingo fundraiser for St. Joseph’s Villa raised $166. Lastly, a Cookout, Music and Karaoke Fundraiser for Bobby Martin, a member who recently underwent a heart transplant, raised $660.

Inverness, Florida - September 2017

Citrus #3992 recently partnered with Eugene Quinn VFW Post #4337 to assist deserving Vietnam veteran Bob Calabreese with a new water well. The two organizations were instrumental in raising the necessary funds for the project. Phoenix, Arizona - Sept. 2017

Vickie Jo Scott of Sunnyslope Auxiliary #2957 in Phoenix has worked with the students at Granville Elementary in Prescott Valley, Ariz., the past two years where her grandchildren attended school to enter the Eagles’ Children’s Art Contest. This year, there were two third place winners from the school. Ethan Hunt, Grade 3, and Lexington Nilson, Grade 4, both received a $75 prize. The students were recognized at a Spirit and Pride assembly.

Edgewater, Florida - Sept. 2017

New Smyrna-Edgewater Eagles #4242 recently donated $1,000 to the Volusia County Humane Society. Cle Elum, Washington - Sept. 2017

Harry Nelson, a member of the popular local band The Willies, was injured in a motorcycle accident, undergoing long-term therapy and facing extensive medical bills. Cle Elum Eagles #649 answered the call to help, holding a HarryStock event on June 3 to help raise funds to offset Nelson’s bills. The street in front of the club was closed down and featured a beer garden, bands and raffles all to help Harry. The event raised more than $30,000 to help Harry in his recovery.

Croswell, Michigan - Sept. 2017

Croswell-Lexington Eagles #4465 have been hard at work for the last year, raising countless funds to benefit the community. Members made a substantial donation to the Croswell Food Truck Ministry, helping provide $125 in food to each of 184 families to feed a total of 758 individuals in need. They also donated $550 to the Moving Wall project to help bring the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall to Sandusky, Ohio. Lastly, they gave $500 to Cub Scout Pack #322 to help buy tents and camping gear.
