Lincoln City, Oregon - July 2020 North Lincoln Eagles #2576 came together to provide meals for seniors and compromised citizens for quarantined individuals during this pandemic. Aerie member and caterer Frank Napoleon recognized the need for providing meals, and worked with Grill 1646 owner Dan, and Auxiliary President Bahni Thayer to put their plan to action. They coordinated a crew of about eight volunteers, and was able to prepare 60 meals for the first week, that were delivered by a few drivers. Now, they are currently preparing and delivering 250 meals a week, with over 20 volunteers assisting. #2576’s Aerie President Dave Randleman has also been taking the calls for meals, and schedules the deliveries. Through generous support and contributions, they plan to continue their meal delivery program until September.
