Seattle, Washington - April 2020

Since mid-March, every single evening, the West Seattle Eagles #2643 have handed out free dinners at their Alaska Junction location- with everyone welcome, regardless of their situation. Dinner service starts at 5:30pm every night and ends when they're sold out. Most nights, the Eagles serve anywhere from 100 to 150 to-go meals. Photo Credit: K5 News

Ashbury, Iowa - April 2020

Members of Ashbury Eagles #4458 made and distributed 120 pizzas to health care workers, first responders and home-bound residents in the Dubuque area. The pizzas were delivered to workers at Luther Manor Grand Meadows and Hawkeye Care Center in Asbury, as well as UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center and Manor Care in Dubuque. Members of the Asbury Police Department were invited to pick up a pizza at the Eagles’ home base. Eight Eagle members who were currently unable to leave their homes also received pizza deliveries.


Freeland, Washington - April 2020

Whidbey Island Eagles #3418 held their annual tradition of distributing funds to a variety of South Whidbey Island local charities on February 15, 2020. A total of $20,600 was distributed to WAIF, Friends of the Freeland library, Friends of Friends Medical Support, S.W. Fire & Rescue, Enso House, Whidbey Island Nourishes, S.W. Homeless Coalition, Readiness to Learn, HUB Youth Center, Good Cheer Food Bank, and Hearts & Hammers.


Green River, Wyoming - April 2020

Sweetwater Eagles #2350 presented the Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center with a $4,000 donation during their meeting on March 10, 2020. The money will be added to the Memorial Hospital Foundation's Cancer Fund, which is used to fund equipment. Previous purchases made from this fund include zero gravity IV poles to improve patient safety and mobility, stationary chemotherapy pumps to increase treatment availability, and portable chemotherapy pumps and pouches to improve patient treatment options. Syracuse, Indiana - April 2020

Lakeland Eagles #3760 in Syracuse, In. gave away free meals to families on April 25, 2020. Members provided a chicken dinner with beans, coleslaw and homemade cookies for dessert. The event lasted less than an hour and they were able to distribute 325 meals to those in need. While the meals were free, there was still an option to donate. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - April 2020

Lake Havasu City Eagles #4299 donated $7,095.30 in memory of Past Worthy President Paul Mosher to Faith and Grace, Inc for the Domestic Violence shelter here in Lake Havasu.
