The money will go toward helping Needles Student Travel Group’s trip to Washington D.C. in June 2019. Englewood, Colorado - June 2018 During the 2017-2018 Fraternal year, Englewood Auxiliary #3241 cumulatively distributed $4,875 to multiple organizations including: $325.00 to the University of Colorado Lung Cancer center $300 for Breast Cancer research $100 to Colorado Blood Cancer research $325.00 to the University of Colorado Hospital’s Heart Fund $225 to the Golden Eagle for Englewood Library $300 to the Denver Assistance League for Seniors $2,850 to Purple Heart for Dogs for Vets $350 to the Ronald McDonald House $100 for a Colorado State Scholarship St. Augustine, Florida - June 2018 St. Augustine Auxiliary #4256 donated $7,000 to K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc. The money was raised from #4256’s annual poker run. K9 Partners for Patriots is a nonprofit that helps Veterans with PTSD, TBI & MST with thoughts of suicide, depression, and anxiety through the experience of training their own service dog. Georgia - June 2018 During Georgia’s State Convention, held at Atlanta #714, GA State Auxiliary Madam President Paula Bougher presented a check for $1,300 to Camp MAGIK.
