10 January Albia, Iowa #3583 - November 2024 January 10, 2025 By The Fraternal Order of Eagles Iowa 0 The Albia Fraternal Order of Eagles is pleased to announce that they celebrated their 50th Anniversary earlier this year. Since our Aerie Home was chartered in 1964, we have strived to enrich the community with generosity, compassion, and kindness. The Eagles is a fully Charitable Organization and we, as members, work together to raise fun and funds for the greater good. We donate not only to local causes, but also to State and National charities as well. To commemorate our Golden Anniversary Achievement, we put together a wonderful presentation to honor the three Charter (Founding) Members that are still with us today - we were thankful that two were able to be present for it. We are forever grateful to James “Jim” Amos, Carolyn Earney, and Don “Butch” McNeal for their dedication to our wonderful organization. They, along with the many other men and women who helped form the Eagles in Albia, made it possible for us to be where we are today. For many of us, the Eagles is a family tradition that we hope to carry on into many future generations to come. We are proud of our 50 year achievement and still harbor the same dedication as our Charter Members did all those years ago. We would love for you to stop in and see us soon! Everyone is always welcome at the Albia Eagles! We would love for you to consider joining our membership and are happy to tell you about the many member benefits that the Fraternal Order of Eagle’s offers! Please make sure to like and follow us on Facebook so that you can join in the fun at our many upcoming events! From the November 2024 edition of People Helping People.
