Charity news from around the F.O.E.

Anchorage, Alaska - September 2020

Anchorage Eagles #4207 presented a $5,000 check to the Blood Bank of Alaska. They are the only blood bank in Alaska and they have to send samples of blood to the lower 48 states to be tested before it can be used. The money will be used to equip the lab to test blood locally.

Anchorage Eagles #4207 made a $5,000 donation to the Alaska Injury Prevention Center. This grant will fund four educational presentations of CarFit to Alaskans over the age of 55. Motor vehicle crashes are the second leading cause of serious injury to this age group and this grant will provide adaptive devices and a check of how well their personal vehicle "fits" them.
