Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts - October 2017

Buzzards Bay Auxiliary #3741 recently held a meat raffle event to raise money for A Night To Shine, which creates an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs, collecting $1,406 for the cause. Last Valentine’s Day, 375 churches and 150,000 volunteers united to celebrate 75,000 special needs individuals with a night centered around God’s love and the value of life. The annual event takes place the Friday before Valentine’s Day and provides a red carpet entrance complete with a friendly welcome from paparazzi, limousine rides, hair and makeup stations, shoe shine areas, dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each guest and dancing. To date, 500 churches across 28 denominations in 17 countries are committed to the 2018 event.
