Related Articles Chattanooga, Tennessee - June 2019 During Chattanooga Eagles #945’s annual Memorial Day Dance, the Aerie and Auxiliary presented two grants – one for child abuse and children’s AIDS, and the other for the Heart Fund. Chattanooga, Tennessee - May 2019 Scenic City Aerie and Auxiliary #945 held its first Kentucky Derby Dance. During the dance two grants were given to the Cancer Fund for $2,000 and the H.O.M.E. Fund for $1,502. Chattanooga, Tennessee - August 2020 Scenic City Aerie and Auxiliary #945 presented 4 grants totaling $5,949 to CHI Memorial Hospital; a H.O.M.E. grant in the amount of $1,949 to the Guerry Heart & Vascular Center at the Chattanooga Heart Institute, a Kidney Fund grant in the amount of $2,500 to the Urology Associates Medical Group & Urologic Cancer Center, and a Diabetes Fund grant in the amount of $1,500 to the Diabetes & Nutrition Program. Blue Island, Illinois - August 2019 Blue Island Auxiliary #1332 filled 200 draw-string backpacks with various school supplies, and distributed them to kids of all ages. Georgetown, Ohio - August 2019 Pleasant Aerie #2293 made a $1,000 donation to the Midwest Dream Center of Adam’s County to help those in the program overcome their drug addiction. Lebanon, Ohio - August 2019 Lebanon Eagle Riders #1395 donated $5,500 to their local Human Society. The proceeds came from their 7th annual Jerry Bice Memorial Critter Race Run that was held in June 2019. Over the past 7 years, a collective total of $21,450 has been donated to this cause.
