New England - October 2017

The brothers and sisters of the New England Region graciously opened their hearts and donated money and goods to be used to help the residents of Immokalee, Florida. Immokalee was devastated by Hurricane Irma and recovery is estimated to take months. The money donated will be used to purchase more much-needed goods for people in the community. Pictured are a representative of the Guadalupe Center in Immokalee, Past Grand Madam President Roxanne Alley-McGovern and Roberta Ciavattieri.

Norwalk, Connecticut - Sept. 2017

The Eagle Riders of Norwalk #588 held a memorial ride to celebrate the lives of fallen members Art “Arty” Santella, Sandra “Killer” Bradley, David “Scooter” Carroll and Baby Bella Redondo. The event was held as a fundraiser for Autism Services and Resources of Connecticut and with everyone’s help, the Eagle Riders were able to raise $3,000.

Norwalk, Connecticut - January 2017

Norwalk Eagle Riders #588 held their first ever Back To School Day For King Kennedy to raise school supplies. Prime Burger Sono supplied foods for the event, which collected an incredible amount of supplies for the community. The event was chaired by member Luis Delgado and his wife Emma and assisted by the Eagles and Eagle Riders.

They also held a BBQ/Poker Run event to raise money for Rivers of Recovery, supporting veterans with PTSD, raising $1,300. Pictured, l to r, are Rey, Emma and Ryan Delgado, Treasurer Karen Hood, President Tommy Miller, Russ Janice, Harry Scheef, Mike Blank and Trustee Art Ehlers.
