They also held a backpack drive for the local homeless shelter in which 53 backpacks full of necessary school supplies were donated for children in grades K-12. Sleepy Hollow, New York - February 2017 Members of Sleepy Hollow Eagles #1042 held a pot luck dinner in November to raise money for the chosen organization of the event chairperson. Last year’s chairperson, Rose Kollar, is the co-founder of Support Connection – an area nonprofit started to provide free support services for breast and ovarian cancer patients. The pot luck raised $2,115 for the cause thanks to the large number of raffle tickets purchase by both men and women at the Eagles.
