Rumford, Maine - August 2018 Rumford Falls Auxiliary #1248 donated $10,000 to the Rumford Hospital Cardiac Rehab Unit in honor of Past Auxiliary President Mary MacDonald’s 18-year-old nephew who died of a heart ailment. “Because Brandon passed away from an undetected heart issue, I wanted to do something for him along that line, so that’s why I chose the cardiac rehab unit here at the hospital,” MacDonald said. New England - October 2017 The brothers and sisters of the New England Region graciously opened their hearts and donated money and goods to be used to help the residents of Immokalee, Florida. Immokalee was devastated by Hurricane Irma and recovery is estimated to take months. The money donated will be used to purchase more much-needed goods for people in the community.
