Pueblo, Colorado - June 2020

With store shelves ravaged because of the Coronavirus, Pueblo West Colorado Aerie #4471 made arrangements with their supply wholesaler to let their members order meats, paper towels and toilet paper, and other essentials through the Aerie. A few of the members separated the orders and delivered them to members' cars once a week.

Colorado - October 2018

Colorado State JPW George Duran presented an $11,567.34 check to the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute for their Rocky Mountain Blood Fund. RMBF provides grants to blood cancer patients to help ease the financial burden that patients and families experience during the treatment for the devastating effects of blood cancers. Duran is a survivor and the Colorado State Aerie is giving back to this lifesaving organization as a part of the State Presidents Special Project.

Englewood, Colorado - June 2018

During the 2017-2018 Fraternal year, Englewood Auxiliary #3241 cumulatively distributed $4,875 to multiple organizations including:
$325.00 to the University of Colorado Lung Cancer center
$300 for Breast Cancer research
$100 to Colorado Blood Cancer research
$325.00 to the University of Colorado Hospital’s Heart Fund
$225 to the Golden Eagle for Englewood Library
$300 to the Denver Assistance League for Seniors
$2,850 to Purple Heart for Dogs for Vets
$350 to the Ronald McDonald House
$100 for a Colorado State Scholarship

Federal Heights, Colorado - April 2018

Aerie #4019 held a breakfast fundraiser to support Shield 616 and the Federal Heights Police Department, where they raised $1,200. Recently, three police officers were shot and killed in the line of duty. The Aerie was saddened by the tragic officer deaths and wanted to do something to help the men and women who risk their lives daily. The cause, Shield 616 “Support the Shield” helps better equip the men and women in the local police department safe with the best gear possible to keep them safe. Through the donated funds, Shield 616 will purchase and distribute rifle-ready protection designed for quick deployment to departments across Colorado.
