FOE Diabetes Research Center

The Board of the FOE Charity Foundation met on November 11, in New Orleans, to make Eagles history. The group met to formally approve the first two drug trials in the F.O.E.’s Bridge to the Cure campaign. The funds donated will be used by doctors at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center at the University of Iowa to conduct initial drug trials based on successful research that was carried out at the DRC using the Eagles’ original $25 million donation to fight diabetes. Our original research funding has produced more than $500 million in additional grants. These trials aim to find viable medications which can move on to human testing in hopes of ultimately finding a cure for diabetes. *Masks were temporarily taken off for photo.
