Crater Lake, Oregon - November 2017

Oregon Junior Past State President and Crater Lake Aerie #2093 Secretary John King presented checks for $500 from the Aerie and $1,664 from the Past Presidents’ Club to the Committee on Memorials and Remembrance, represented by Steve Bates and Oregon State Conductor Steve Wiley. This was to honor Gold Star Families who lost two sons in the Vietnam War. The presentation was held at the Eagles in Medford, honoring the Rowden Family. Signs will be placed on Highway 238 near the boyhood home of the Rowden boys, James and John. The Committee of Memorials and Remembrance established a goal to honor these families for their extreme sacrifice and loss. This money was raised by the Aerie, Auxiliary and Past Presidents’ Club of Crater Lake #2093.
