This event was postponed twice because of the pandemic and finally held with social distancing rules in effect. The event raised over $3,800 for the Virginia State Madam President's charity, the Some Gave All Foundation, to help wounded veterans in the community. Fredericksburg, Virginia - January 2020 Fredericksburg Auxiliary #4123 and Spotsylvania Auxiliary #4391 joined together for a postal auction fundraiser where participants bid on unopened packages based on the postmark. PGWP Jerry Sullivan was the auctioneer, and the Auxiliaries were able to raise $1,840.00 for the F.O.E. Cancer Fund. Fredericksburg, Virginia - December 2020 Fredericksburg Aerie #4123 presented Grand Worthy President Dave Smith with a check for $5,000 at his official visit in early October. Officers of the Aerie treated GWP Smith to dinner and he then attended a meeting and initiation. This was the second $5,000 check received from the Fredericksburg Aerie for his charity projects. Sullivan, Missouri - August 2020 Meramec Valley Eagles #3781 recently donated 3 pallets of water bottles to the Sullivan, Bourbon, Spring Bluff and Strain-Japan school districts and St. Anthony’s. The donation totals 5,616 bottles of water and will be disturbed to local schools to assist in needs of students or staff due to COVID restrictions for the upcoming school year. #3781 is celebrating 43 years (est. Aug 28, 1977), and is proud to serve and support the Sullivan and Bourbon communities! Shell Knob, Missouri - August 2020 Shell Knob Eagles #4155 partnered with the Central Crossing Senior Center. The CCS Center is an advocate for seniors, and is providing them with residential opportunities.
