The Eagle Rider members hosted a ‘Runs and Dinner’ event to raise the funds for their cause. Hospice of the Valley is a non-profit, community based hospice that strives to serve the diverse needs of families with a wide variety of comprehensive programs. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - August 2019 Lake Havasu City Eagle Riders #4299 gifted member James Wasniewski with an electric wheelchair during a meeting. Lake Havasu City Eagles #4299 donated 110 backpacks to local school children. Each child was given tissues and hand wipes for their classroom, and #4299 also donated other necessities to the special needs classrooms. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - April 2020 Lake Havasu City Eagles #4299 donated $7,095.30 in memory of Past Worthy President Paul Mosher to Faith and Grace, Inc for the Domestic Violence shelter here in Lake Havasu. The CCS Center is an advocate for seniors, and is providing them with residential opportunities. During Covid-19, the Meals on Wheels program has been serving up to 300 meals a day for the past several weeks while struggling financially. This monetary donations will help keep this program going. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - July 2020 Bob and Penny Lee, co-chairs for the Heart fund at Lake Havasu Eagles #4299 were proud to send a check in the amount of $14,520.10 to support Phoenix Children's Hospital Heart Research.
