The Eagles raised $1,387 from tip jars at Attica Days for the Community Foundation while $2,629 was raised from the refreshment tent at the Eastern Michigan State Fair for the Veterans’ Affairs Office. Related Articles Imlay City, Michigan - February 2019 Over the past few months Leprechaun Eagles #4082 has made multiple charitable contributions to different organizations; they gave $1,500 to the foster kids in Lapeer county, donated $800 to the Marlette Hospice Center, and during the holidays #4082 held a benefit for three charities which included Justice for Lily, Holiday Depot, and the Shriners. From the live auction and donations from the Aerie, Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders, they were able to raise $4,300 for Justice for Lily, a pickup truck full of toys and $740 went to the Holiday Depot, and the proceeds from a mitten, scarf, and hat tree sales went to the Shriner children. Lebanon, Ohio - February 2023 Miami Valley Eagles #1395 donated $5,000 to the Countryside YMCA for their Veterans Day Celebration last fall. Oxnard, California - February 2023 Oxnard Eagles #2232, along with Grand Worthy President Rick Powell and Jr. Past Grand Madam President Brenda Garrioch, presented a grant for $5,000 to Ventura County Family Justice Center during the 2022 Western Regional Conference. Ocean View, Delaware - February 2023 Eagles #4528 donated $5,500 to the Bethany Beach, Dagsboro, Frankford, Millville and Roxana Fire Auxiliaries in 2022. Worthy President Eric Davis and Worthy Trustee Bud Bachmann delivered donations and gave membership presentations to the groups last fall. Anchorage, Alaska - February 2023 Anchorage Auxiliary #4207 recently donated $1,500 to the Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center along with $1,500 in bulk laundry and shower supplies. Hale, Michigan - February 2017 Hale Eagles #4217’s Ladies’ Auxiliary has donated more than $19,000 to the Convenant Breast Health Center over the past five years to support the CARE Fund, which provides free screening mammography and any necessary follow-up care for uninsured or underinsured individuals.
