The Mercy House, known as a home for the terminally ill, is a community care shelter which provides a home and a supportive family to people with terminal illnesses who can no longer remain at their residence. OCE is a Title 1 school where a majority of its students qualify for free lunch, and 64 children live in a state of homelessness. Eagles Lodge #4201 helps by providing school supplies, backpacks, meals, and warm clothing for the cold. During this year’s Easter celebration, #4201 held a fundraiser where they raised $1,500 for OCE and presented the check to Principal Charles Bynum. Depew, New York - May 2018 For the last two years Depew-Lancaster #2692 has donated more than $25,000 to Brian Moorman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation. Recently, #2692 presented another $1,000 grant check to P.U.N.T. The foundation helps provide local families affected by pediatric cancer with support and opportunities to improve their quality of life. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - June 2018 Lake Havasu City #4299 donated $4,543 to support Hospice for Havasu, which is a nonprofit organization that serves the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the incurably ill, their families and friends in their community. #4299 raised the money by holding various fundraisers, including games, dinners, raffles, and craft sales. Lincoln City, Oregon - June 2018 North Lincoln #2576 presented a $1,400 check to the Taft High School Music Program. The money was raised by a combined effort of the Aerie from a weekend garage sale.
