Kansas State Presidents Randy Holding of Junction City #830 and Dawn Couch of Wyandotte #87 named Camp Discovery as their State Charity for the year. A total of $4,224 was raised. Missouri State Eagles - October 2024 The Missouri State Eagles donated a record-breaking $206,662 to Camp Hope, the project of 2023-2024 State Presidents Don Elfline and Nancy Congdon. Okahumpka, Florida #4273 - December 2024 Lake County Eagles #4273 donated a grant for $25,000 to the Lake County Early Learning Coalition. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - December 2018 Lake Havasu City Aerie #4299 partook in Chloride Campout’s Old Miners Day Parade 2018 where they entered a float and won a ‘Best Overall’ trophy. Marceline, Missouri - December 2018 Marceline Eagles #726 donated $1,370 to Wreaths Across America. They also sold $281 worth of raffle tickets, and donated those funds to Wreaths Across America. Marceline Eagles #726 presented the Food Pantry Administrator Bill Toops with a $500 check for the Marceline Food Pantry. Marceline Eagles #726 gave a $500 grant to the Linn County Humane Society, in conjunction with Allstate Insurance. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - December 2019 Lake Havasu City Eagle Riders #4299 started a cuddly movement by selling and donating stuffed teddy bears fitted with a motorcycle jacket and the Eagle Riders emblem on the back. In order to get the project started, five local Eagle Riders from #4299 chipped in to make the initial purchase of 500 bears. The goal is that the money raised from those bears can help the organization purchase even more bears, with excess money being donated to local charities. #4299 member Tom O’Brien originally came up with the idea of the Charity Bear.
