11 August Ladysmith, British Columbia - August 2022 August 11, 2022 By The Fraternal Order of Eagles British Columbia British Columbia, Charity 0 Ladysmith’s local member of the Legislative Assembly introduced the Fraternal Order of Eagles and 2021-22 Provincial Worthy President Joey Lasaga and 2022-23 Provincial Madam President Bobbi Williamson to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Both Joey and Bobbi will receive a commemorative book from the legislature and an official transcript of the proceedings, as well as a DVD of the introduction. Related Articles Vernon, British Columbia - August 2018 Vernon Aerie #3557 hosted the provincial convention in honor of Klara Schubert, the Provincial Madam President for the 2017-2018 Fraternal year. For Schubert’s Breast Cancer charity, $21,630.25 was raised from various proceeds including selling ladybug pins, and a special raffle at the convention. Schubert plans to purchase equipment for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, specifically a Mammotome Gamma Probe instrument. Ladysmith, British Columbia - October 2017 Ladysmith Auxiliary #2101 recently presented lap blankets to Past Provincial Madam President Donna Roach. Donna’s special project during her year was to have Auxiliary members make lap blankets to be donated. Ladysmith members made 48 blankets which were donated to the Lodge on 4th, an intermediate care facility. Ladysmith, British Columbia - November 2017 Ladysmith Eagles Auxiliary #2101 Madam President Sheila Williams and Madam Vice President Arlene Neale presented a check to Louise Baines of the local food bank for $4,037.25 along with 1,000 pounds of food collected by the Eagles. Post Falls, Idaho - August 2022 Post Falls Eagles #3682 presented a check in the amount of $3,671 to the Post Falls Police Dept., supporting the 23rd annual Holidays and Heroes program. The money was raised via a luau held by the club, featuring drawings, raffles and live music. North Mason, Washington - August 2022 North Mason Eagles #4226 donated a check for $2,000 on May 25 to North Mason Band Boosters to support students at Belfair Elementary, Sand Hill Elementary, Hawkins Middle School and North Mason High School. Thanks to the help of the bingo ladies, kitchen staff and bingo followers, more than $26,000 has been donated to local groups in Belfair and Mason County since its onset. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - August 2022 Lake Havasu Eagles #4299 donated $12,375 to Camp Courage Arizona Burn Camp.
