11 May Lebanon, Ohio - February 2018 May 11, 2018 By The Fraternal Order of Eagles Ohio 0 Lebanon Eagle Riders #1395 delivered gift bags and Christmas wishes to the residents of Lebanon Care on December 17. The Lebanon Eagle Riders, founded in 2008, have always selected a family at Christmas and donated gifts. This year, they wanted to give back to the 67 residents at Lebanon Care. Working with the staff, they provided them with gift bags including sweatshirts, socks, shampoos, lotion, after shave, chap stick, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, puzzle books and other items for the 67 residents. Related Articles Covington, Ohio - February 2018 Covington Eagles #3998, in conjunction with the Fields of Grace Church hosted the 7th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner, feeding 1,113 people. Through the hard work of the Eagles members in Covington, they were able to donate $3,500 toward the cost of the dinners. The Aerie in Covington supports the villages of Covington, Bradford and Pleasant Hill and over the past five years, has donated more than $500,000 to fire/rescue, schools, libraries, police, county sheriff’s, local community chest and more as needed. They also donate their hall for community projects, health fairs, memorial services, church services and more. Lebanon, Ohio - May 2018 Miami Valley Auxiliary #1395 made a $1,200 donation to the non-profit, Heroes’ Fund. The money will be used to help support their mission of providing one-time emergency financial aid to combat-zone veterans who reside in Butler, Hamilton, or Warren counties. Lebanon, Ohio - July 2018 Miami Valley Aerie, Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders #1395 donated $2,200 to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. Lebanon, Ohio - September 2018 Miami Valley Auxiliary #1395 donated $1,000 to Warren County Children's Services for their school supply drive. Lebanon, Ohio - February 2023 Miami Valley Eagles #1395 donated $5,000 to the Countryside YMCA for their Veterans Day Celebration last fall. Florida - February 2018 On Dec. 1, more than 70 men and women from the Florida State Aerie & Auxiliary enjoyed an afternoon reception hosted by the Florida Hospital Foundation. During the reception, the FOE was recognized for attaining a place of honor on the Foundation’s Lifetime Donor Hall of Fame by exceeding one half-million dollars in contributions. David Collis, President of the Florida Hospital Foundation, told the group that in appreciation for the outstanding achievement, the hospital renamed four key rooms within the facility in honor of the F.O.E. They are as follows: FOE Vitals Room in the Florida Hospital for Children FOE Library in the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute FOE Conference Room in the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute FOE Creation Consult Room in the Florida Hospital Diabetes Institute During the ceremony, Collis also presented Florida Past State Madam President Michelle McCarthy with a special plaque in honor of her continued dedication and generosity to Florida Hospital.
