The family requested attendees bring nonperishable items to honor the giving and generous spirit of Marje. Over 700lbs. of goods were collected and distributed to two local food banks. Lehigh Acres, Florida - December 2018 Lehigh Acres Auxiliary #3938 raised $1,950 during a benefit to help support a well-loved member, Judy. Judy is a long time member and volunteered as a waitress before she was diagnosed with cancer. The funds will help with her medical bills, and she was beyond thrilled and overwhelmed with how many people came out to show their love and support. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - July 2019 Lake Havasu City Eagles #4299 presented $13,231.23 to the CEO of Arizona Burn Foundation for Camp Courage. This camp is for children who are burn victims and their siblings. Lawrence, Kansas - July 2019 Lawrence Auxiliary #309 donated $11,000 to the Lawrence Schools Foundation, which will enable their Auxiliary to give a $500 scholarship to a deserving graduate each year for many years. This year’s scholarship went to Ella Keathley and was presented by PGWP Doris Bateson and Auxiliary Trustee Cassie Post. Kentucky - July 2019 During the 2019 Kentucky F.O.E State Convention, PSP Scott Templeton, Representatives of St. Jude Kyla Cole and Kathryn Weber, KY.
