This camp is for children who are burn victims and their siblings. Lehigh Acres, Florida - July 2019 Lehigh Acres Eagles #3938 helped raise $2,106 for the Garner family, who needed assistance with burial costs for their family member. They raised the money by hosting a cake auction fundraiser. Lawrence, Kansas - July 2019 Lawrence Auxiliary #309 donated $11,000 to the Lawrence Schools Foundation, which will enable their Auxiliary to give a $500 scholarship to a deserving graduate each year for many years. This year’s scholarship went to Ella Keathley and was presented by PGWP Doris Bateson and Auxiliary Trustee Cassie Post. Kentucky - July 2019 During the 2019 Kentucky F.O.E State Convention, PSP Scott Templeton, Representatives of St. Jude Kyla Cole and Kathryn Weber, KY. State President Mike Baldwin, and WSP Mike Baldwin presented a $5,000 grant check to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Lebanon, Ohio - July 2019 Miami Valley Aerie, Auxiliary, and Eagle Riders #1395 jointly presented a $2,200 check Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Dayton. New Brighton, Minnesota - July 2019 Minnesota State Aerie President Mike Hanson’s charity for his year was the Make A Wish Foundation of Minnesota. He had a goal of $20,000, but he was able to raise a total of $28,422.93. The Grand Aerie gave a grant of $5,000 and the New Brighton Eagles made a gambling donation of $8,000, but overall the balance was raised by the members of New Brighton Eagles #3718. Hanson raised the money by cooking burgers, hosting steak fry’s, live auctions, grab bags, and contributed personal donations during his year as State President.
