11 May Merrill, Wisconsin - February 2018 May 11, 2018 By The Fraternal Order of Eagles Wisconsin 0 Merrill Eagles #584 recently presented a series of eight donations to local groups with money raised from the annual Boomer Memorial Raffle and grants from the FOE Charity Foundation. These donations include: $500 to Never Forgotten Honor Flight. Merrill, Wisconsin - April 2018 Merrill Aeries #584 donated $520 to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight (NFHF) after raising those funds from hosting two raffles in March. The NFHF is a nonprofit that fly regional-based veterans who served during WWII, the Korean War or the Vietnam eras to Washington, D.C. to visit the respective memorials. Merrill, Wisconsin - June 2018 Merrill Auxiliary #584 donated $582.76 from the proceeds raised from a pancake breakfast to the Merrill Habitat House. The Merrill Habitat House will be used as a homeless shelter for the local community. Merrill, Wisconsin - July 2018 Merrill Eagles Club #584 awarded scholarships to Leah Beckman, Kobe Blake, and Cassie McAllister. Merrill, Wisconsin - October 2018 At the Western Zone Conference in Merrill Northwoods, the Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) chapter received a $1,000 grant from the Merrill Aerie and Auxiliary #584 to go towards purchasing fingerprint identification equipment. Merrill, Wisconsin - December 2018 Merrill Auxiliary #584 Community Service Committee presented personal hygiene items, t-shirts, and cleaning items to the Merrill Community Homeless Center.
