This Cheerleading Squad supports the Special Olympics and provides a great sense of sportsmanship to its members, athletes and the community. With COVID-19, the Squad has had difficulty raising funds to purchase necessary equipment. Aerie #4365 was honored to help these athletes obtain what was required. Best of all, the funds helped them attend a recent competition where they won 1st place and now have the opportunity to attend their national competition. Depew, New York - December 2020 Depew Auxiliary #2692 made a generous donation of $2,500 for the PDdance program. The Dance for PD program is committed to supporting their global community and encouraging people living with Parkinson’s to keep dancing during a time when in-studio classes by offering virtual classes and more. Georgetown, Ohio - December 2020 Georgetown Eagles #2232’s trustee Rex Loudon presented a $2,000 donation to the Brown County Peace Officers Association in support of their “Shop with a Cop” program. Accepting the check on behalf of the Brown County Peace Officers Association was Sheriff Gordon Ellis and Chief Deputy Chris Hodges. Auburn, Washington - December 2020 Auburn Auxiliary #2298’s Madam President Connie Brown recently presented a $5,000 grant to Andrew Lewis-Lechner, the senior grant officer for the Auburn MultiCare Regional Cancer Center. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - December 2020 Lake Havasu Aerie and Auxiliary #4299 donated $967 to the Alzheimer’s research and prevention foundation.
