During the Aerie meeting, Auxiliary Madam President Darlene Beaudin made a donation on behalf of Moose Jaw Auxiliary #3395 in the amount of $5,000 to Aerie President, Randy Wetaski, to assist the Aerie with the payment of the yearly property taxes as the Aerie has been without revenue for a few months. Related Articles Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - May 2017 Moose Jaw Aerie and Auxiliary #3395 volunteered their time to work the phones at the 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon to support critical care at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. The Eagles also brought $1,200 in donations to help the cause. Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - October 2017 Sisters Jean Nurse and Darlene Beaudin of Moose Jaw Auxiliary #3395 coordinated the “Fill The Pantries” campaign this year and on October 10, held a food drive collecting 214 items and $30 in cash. All donations were given to the Riverside Mission shelter. Pueblo, Colorado - June 2020 With store shelves ravaged because of the Coronavirus, Pueblo West Colorado Aerie #4471 made arrangements with their supply wholesaler to let their members order meats, paper towels and toilet paper, and other essentials through the Aerie. A few of the members separated the orders and delivered them to members' cars once a week. Fredericksburg, Virginia - June 2020 Fredericksburg Eagles #4123 has been proudly supporting their Eagle Brothers, Ryan Pritt and Reggie Alcaraz, as they continue their racing careers at Dominion Raceway. Manitowoc, Wisconsin - June 2020 Manitowoc Eagles #706 presented a check in the amount of $1,140 to The Eternal Flame and Veterans Memorial. A Flag Day service was held at the club on June 14th and local Vets were invited. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - June 2020 Lake Havasu Eagles #4299 donated $2,000 to the Lake Havasu Meals on Wheels program. During Covid-19, the Meals on Wheels program has been serving up to 300 meals a day for the past several weeks while struggling financially. This monetary donations will help keep this program going.
