This is by far the highlight of our week, and we cannot thank you all enough for helping to provide this extraordinarily beneficial experience; without your help we couldn't afford this time. Hannah has made some peer friendships, and there is something magical that happens when she spends time in quiet with her horse, Willy. Willy cannot see at all out of his left eye, and he and Hannah have a special bond. Hannah has Batten Disease, CLN-3, and there is no cure at this time in history. She has seizures and has lost most of her vision, and it will continue to diminish. Hannah has a shortened life expectancy and as her mom and full time caregiver, this is such a blessing from God to be able to provide this for her and make some happy memories while we still can.” Folsom, California - May 2020 Since mid-March, every single evening, the West Seattle Eagles #2643 have handed out free dinners at their Alaska Junction location- with everyone welcome, regardless of their situation.
