Brisbane, California - May 2019 Tony Lujan and Tracy Jennings from Brisbane Eagles #3255 co-chaired the Cancer Fund, and with the help of volunteers, they were able to raise a total of $1,706 to support the fund. El Cerrito, California - June 2019 Bayview Aerie #2323 presented Auxiliary member Dr. Julie Saba, with a $5,000 check to support the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute. This organization focuses its research on childhood research, and the money will be used to help fund that research. Brisbane, California - October 2019 Brisbane Eagles #3255’s co-chairs Rocky Guillory, DeeDee Berrocal, and volunteers raised $4,332 for the Cancer Fund. They held a dinner, raffle, and auctioned off prizes. Needles, California - January 2017 Needles Aerie #2599 raised $380 for the City of Hope Research and Treatment Center with an American Flag raffle. The beautiful wooden flag was created and donated by Frank Rodriguez of Barstow. Winners of this distinguished flag were Al Townsend, Kathy Wofford and Kay Luisi. They generously redonated the flag back to the Aerie in order to continue raising money. Needles Aerie #2599 will continue to sell raffle tickets and will pick a new winner at a yet to be determined date. Money raised will be added to the original amount and donated to City of Hope. Needles, California - June 2018 Needles Aerie and Auxiliary #2599 raised $700 from a Fry Bread dinner.
