The steps leading to Amos Cannon’s home were falling apart, so two donors provided materials and Secretary Jason Tilley provided the labor to fix the stairs and give Mr. Cannon a brand new set of steps leading to his front door. The funds were raised during the 2019-20 fraternal year when Hall and Spaulding served as Florida State Presidents. Green Cove Springs, Florida - August 2020 During a ceremony conducted at the Green Cove Springs Auxiliary #4505, a $1,500 check was presented to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Sullivan, Missouri - August 2020 Meramec Valley Eagles #3781 recently donated 3 pallets of water bottles to the Sullivan, Bourbon, Spring Bluff and Strain-Japan school districts and St. Anthony’s. The donation totals 5,616 bottles of water and will be disturbed to local schools to assist in needs of students or staff due to COVID restrictions for the upcoming school year. #3781 is celebrating 43 years (est. Aug 28, 1977), and is proud to serve and support the Sullivan and Bourbon communities! Umatilla, Florida - August 2018 During Umatilla Aerie and Auxiliary #4491’s 13th anniversary party, Sheryl Sanders, Madam President of Auxiliary 4491, presented eight sensory weighted blankets for the Autistic Children in the Lake County School System to teachers from Umatilla Elementary, Umatilla Middle, Spring Creek Charter, and Umatilla High School. These efforts were coordinated through Region 1 with the assistance of Miranda Cornwell, Executive Secretary, and Dr. Abner, PhD, Exceptional Student Education. Edgewater, Florida - August 2018 New Smyrna Beach-Edgewater #4242 was able to raise $36,837 during the 2017-2018 Fraternal year, which is the most the Aerie has ever raised. They also awarded their Worthy President Paul Clarey with a gold card to commemorate his service and last year at the club. Georgetown, Ohio - August 2019 Pleasant Aerie #2293 made a $1,000 donation to the Midwest Dream Center of Adam’s County to help those in the program overcome their drug addiction.
