Needles, California - January 2017 Needles Aerie #2599 raised $380 for the City of Hope Research and Treatment Center with an American Flag raffle. The beautiful wooden flag was created and donated by Frank Rodriguez of Barstow. Winners of this distinguished flag were Al Townsend, Kathy Wofford and Kay Luisi. They generously redonated the flag back to the Aerie in order to continue raising money. Needles Aerie #2599 will continue to sell raffle tickets and will pick a new winner at a yet to be determined date. Money raised will be added to the original amount and donated to City of Hope. Mountain View, California - May 2020 Mountain View Aerie #2356 delivered nearly 70 prepared meals to nurses and the supporting staff at Villa Siena Senior Community. The meals were made possible through the generous cash donations of Aerie and Auxiliary members.
