The donation totals 5,616 bottles of water and will be disturbed to local schools to assist in needs of students or staff due to COVID restrictions for the upcoming school year. #3781 is celebrating 43 years (est. Aug 28, 1977), and is proud to serve and support the Sullivan and Bourbon communities! Missouri - August 2020 During a district meeting, Missouri State Eagles presented a $30,000 grant check to the Cancer Research Center. Anchorage, Alaska - August 2020 Anchorage Auxiliary #4207 member Dina Niver was recently surprised with a plaque commemorating her induction in the Grand Auxiliary Hall of Fame. Dina served as Alaska State Madam President for the 2009-10 fraternal year and served as Pacific Northwest Regional Madam President in 2017-18. Old Town, Florida - August 2020 Old Town #4520 recently stepped up to help an area veteran in need. The steps leading to Amos Cannon’s home were falling apart, so two donors provided materials and Secretary Jason Tilley provided the labor to fix the stairs and give Mr. Cannon a brand new set of steps leading to his front door. Glendale, Arizona - August 2020 Osborn Eagle Riders #2843 presented a $10,869.59 check to Hospice of the Valley. The Eagle Rider members hosted a ‘Runs and Dinner’ event to raise the funds for their cause. Hospice of the Valley is a non-profit, community based hospice that strives to serve the diverse needs of families with a wide variety of comprehensive programs. Florida - August 2020 Past State Presidents Greg Hall and Beth Spaulding and Eagle Riders Chairman Jacob Bland presented a check for $126,311 to the University of Florida’s Fixel Institute for brain research to benefit Alzheimer & Parkinson’s research.
